Restoring Your Floor to a Pristine State
Over time, any floor or surface will start to show signs of usage. MTM Tiling utilises various solutions and pieces of cleaning equipment to restore your floor to its former glory. Comprehensive aftercare advice will be offered by our tilers. Every job is unique, which is why our quotes are provisioned on a case-by-case basis.
Waterproofing and Tanking Surfaces
Tanking is a form of waterproofing that protects water-sensitive materials, such as plaster and plasterboard, from the ingress of water and leaks. Two coats of a waterproofing solution along with tape will be applied to the substrate to create a strong seal. MTM Tiling strongly recommends tanking in bathrooms that are higher than ground level.
Sealing Tile Grouts
Prevent your tiled surface from severe staining with our grout sealing. Using specially designed solutions, we will make the grout less penetrable to water and also less susceptible to water ingress. Not only does this protect your tiles, but it also makes them easier to clean and maintain.
Warming up Your Tiles
Never have to suffer the shock of ice-cold tiles under your bare feet again thanks to our under-tile heating. To achieve a warm floor, and add a touch of luxury to your property, we install an electric mat beneath your tiles. Under-tile heating is ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and conservatories, and is prominent in many domestic and commercial properties.
Restoring your Bathroom
We can re-colour and seal your grout to a better than new finish with no dust or mess.
This method can be used to restore old and discoloured or stained grout or it can be applied to a new installation to prevent staining and to keep it looking new from the start. You can even change the colour of your existing grout.
It will typically last for around 15 years once treated or longer with our annual maintenance plan.
It is more cost effective and indeed more effective than re-grouting or applying various cleaners over a period of time.
We offer a full lifetime warranty if our maintenance plan is taken out and a 12 month warranty if not.
